Delta stem

There is, of course, no such thing as a monster cross stem. How many people do you know who want dropbars on a mountainbike? Exactly.

But, just for a second, let's assume that you do want such a setup. What you will find PDQ is that the conventional flat stem doesn't work. It will put the bars too far forward, and the drops will be much too low. Unless you can live with a stack of spacers the size of a salt cellar, you'll want a really high-angle stem. That's where the Delta comes in. At 45°, it's the steepest on the UK market.

Delta have a thing for high bar setups. In fact, your LBS probably has some of their A-head stem raisers on the wall. But we're the only people in the UK selling their tall stem. (Wiggle sell a 40° model, but the Delta comes in with about a centimetre less reach.) Our price is high because we imported direct -- if sales are good, we'll get a bigger batch and bring the price down a bit. Meanwhile, be the first on your block etc by ordering off the Etc page.
